1972 DNC: Anti-war insurgents take charge

There were a lot of things that were going wrong in 1972 in American politics but looking back on this now, I do not think that hours and hours of platform committee meetings constitutes even a blip on the radar screen. When you consider what the U.S. intelligence community was up to at the behest of the White House, the Democratic National Convention and its ill-advised programming seems like very small potatoes indeed.
