Americas best gymnast? Not quite. hasn't been in the gym in over a year, and is completely out of shape. gymnastics is not a part time sport; you cant take a year off, grow and gain as much weight as she did, and keep up with todays gymnasts. sorry, not how the sport works.

Also, I think Shawn will be a great coach someday when she decides to finish her competitive career.

She seems to have a wonderful personality, and she's been an inspiration to so many young gymnasts.

As a former child gymnast, she's the kind of person I would've wished to have instructing me. I think she'll become an excellent teacher, if she chooses to do so.
