  • it amazes me how parallels managed to get this done 2 years ago while oracle just came out with PCI passthrough a couple months ago. Amazing work, I'm going to look into this.

  • Nice one.. Along with the power of HP Z workstations, this will rock..

  • Soooooo hot. I think game developers are obvious but don't forget CAD guys like drill bit designers, etc.

I want this for my office.

  • Thanks for the comment! Don't worry, we know this software is going to be great for anyone using graphics software. So we've made this with not just game developers, but other industries like gas, oil and automotive, for example.

AutoCAD runs just as well on a VM with dedicated graphics hardware as it does on a normal machine. It's a beautiful thing to witness. The video is nice for giving a general idea of what it's like, but obviously nothing compares with the feeling of seeing it in person.

  • Do you need any ISO Image file or a CD/DVD to boot mac or vista with this software?

  • Won't work with Mac OS X (that requires Apple hardware) but yes you'll have to get the image or CD for the operating systems you'll be running in your virtual machines.

  • Well I was waiting for a Parallel for 64 bit host and some graphics acceleration for legacy software. I think you overshot my desires; still the problem is enterprise level computer, HP, NVIDIA, cannot say I got any of those going for me where I do my work.

Its like a really attractive young female who wants nothing to do with me, *sigh* at least their is no foul in staring.... lol
