I suspect the vast majority of Brits, and a good few others across mainland Europe, are more likely to have heard of Everett.

....and it was his radio audience that voted for Wunderbar, not Everett.

Nevertheless I think it is easy to create such a result by making a poll like that where the selection of songs is restricted.

I guess you could easily get a result where this song was chosen No. 1 also - it just depends on the offered pieces and on the audience. The german title might also have been one more reason for a british audience...and of course the fact that it was sung by Zarah Leander...I strongly believe that ;-)

Anyway - I think this song is wunderbar!
