The beginning part of the Quran talks about peace, but this is trumped in the latter section. It is interesting that this particular cartoon is such a catalyst for dialogue about Muslims and terrorism. There is a lot of ignorance about this issue, and I admit that I am no expert but here is my two cents anyway: Islam is not really a religion but a political agenda. The beginning part of the Quran talks about peace, but this is trumped in the latter section. Muslims are called to kill infidels (non-Muslims)and sacrifice their lives in so doing in order to inherit rewards of eternal life.

This is obviously not God's proclamation, and it says a lot about Islamic culture and their ignorance. God intended one woman for every man (there may be exceptions with celibacy), and that each should serve the other fully. There is no need for jealousy, here. Ideally, the couple has children, thus producing a family unit. A household can only withstand so many...
