I was going to ask why your friend didnt have a natural home. With water bowl maybe even a stream feature. Natural rocks nice packed dirt floor heat and a mist system and lots of green stuff. A nice log or two.. Then I saw this. Why cheap plastic boxes?

My ball python is terrified of rats, his old owner was abusive I guess and tried force feeding him one once and ever since he will not even go NEAR them.. pretty sad since we have to feed him 2 large mice instead of just a rat. He will only eat live to.. I guess the rat was a frozen one and he was being force fed them... it was horrible. I am so glad I adopted him! He is a Normal Ball Python and I named him Monty. :)

In addition, you speak of your mojave sand boa going for 5 months without food. This is quite normal behavior for a snake who is not in adequate conditions. In an effort to conserve life and energy, the snake will hibernate. I noticed as you pulled out each drawer, NONE of the snakes even BUDGED. This is completely abnormal, as they weren't responsive at all to your touch. Those snakes are NOT being properly cared for, and I highly suggest that you do a bit more research and a lot less bragging.

You are trying to get the snakes to eat by leaving the rodents in there overnight? You're an idiot! If you place a mouse in front of a snake and it doesn't eat, you REMOVE the mouse!!! wait a few hours and then wet it with warm, almost hot water... give it to the snake still wet. The water will NOT hurt the snake and it WILL get the snake to eat.

OK, I have issues with this. YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO PROPERLY TAKE CARE OF THOSE ANIMALS!!! You have NO humidification system in there at ALL. Humidity requires MORE than a simple water bowl. You have no substrate in many of the tubs those snakes are in. Plastic containers are NOT suitable for retaining heat or moisture; two things that are VITAL to the health and longevity of those snakes. There's no lighting system, and the way you are keeping them is no different than a puppy farm.

awesome snakes....and about ur mojave nice patterns on that snake btw.. and have u tried feeding it live rodents....because i have a male ball python hes about 4 1/2 feet long and he will only take live rats and mice....when u put a f/t mouse in there he acts like its not even there he will not eat it......just a thought plz reply

Pinkies and fuzzies can do no harm. One of the babies has been with one of the live fuzzies now for nearly 30 hours. As of right now I've gotten 9 of the 11 to eat.

Thanks! My male KSB won't even hit 2 feet, although some males can. Females generally will end up at 2 feet, although some can hit 3 feet.
