  • Making my first trip to seattle this and just tonight I saw the Elephant sign lit for the first time. great neon sign.

  • The Cafe Vita sign has one arm stuck 'on' - it's usually kept working completely. There are a few of these, but only one animated one. The vid leaves out the grand Seattle Post-Intelligencer globe with revolving letters and loads of old uranium-oxide glass, and the great Bardahl sign in Ballard which usually works but not well.

  • Seattle has some of the most beautiful neon signs I've ever seen! A haven for them- so well preserved. I grew up in Southern California- they got rid of most of their's.

  • In 1973 I was driving up Fremont to get in line for gas, & spotted the Buckaroo's sign. That was my local for years. The sign originally came from the Round Up Tavern at 85th & Greenwood

  • Someone said to me that neon is tacky. I don't know, it's a great look as far as I'm concerned and we don't see enough of it any more.

  • I love Pink Ele, see her almost every day and she always makes me smile!

  • Outstanding signs and beautiful video.
