Seriously pythons aren't venomous like Boa Constrictors, even thou the Python can still kill you its not as deadly as the taipan even thou the Boa is closely related to the Boa.....Also does anyone know if the Brown Snake(Pseudonaja) and/or Tiger Snake as deadly as the taipan. I know the taipan is prone to run away(unless corner=strikes 1+ times), while the brown snake is very deadly(even the young ones)...but the tiger snake is the one that I can never find real info. on o.O
Everyone, I'm sure you have the patience to disregard d3r0n's ignorant comments. I'm positive he hasn't heard of a reticulated python, most badass snake in the world. That python will chew up and spit out any taipan or venemous snake.
Erm...I really dont think so. The taipan is the world's most poisonous snake. One bite from it and the Python is a gonner. In fact one bite from this snake and anything is a gonner. It's venom attacks the central nervous system and renders the poor recipient helpless in seconds.
Actually, it isn't known whether the inland taipan is the deadliest of the venomous snakes. I've heard quite a couple of experts stating that the sea-snake posesses the most potent venom of any serpent. But if a fight between a reticulated python and a taipan was to occur, then two results will emerge. The taipan will bite the python in self-defense, injecting its venom. The python will, of course, kill it, since it reaches a length of 33 feet (max). But it will later die from the venom.
The python is only famous for it's aggresive stance, while the inland taipan is much more deadlier. I'd rate brown snakes higher though, mainly because their much more common, and aggresive.
Although Taipans are very venomous, their not that agressive, they would only bite another snake on two occasions; The first being that it's given it's warning and the snake is still persisting towards it, second, they would bite another snake for protection of something, possibly food.
The inland taipan is the most venomous snake on land Not the 2nd or the 3rd, it is singly the most potent snake on the world. one bite can kill over 50 elephants. It would own any anaconda or python, because its venom has the deadliest concentration of enzymes. Love them.
The "Inland Taipan" snake is the most venomous land snake in the world. It has enough vemon to kill 100 adult humans or 250,000 mice. Its venom is 50 times more toxic than that of most rattlesnakes and at least 200 - 400 times as toxic as a common cobra. The Inland Taipan has an extremely neurotoxic venom that can kill an adult human in as little as 45 minutes. All though, no human has ever died to one of these types of snakes because of anitvenin.
The serum of Taipan bites is pretty good because its neurotoxin, easy to find and destroy, but a bie of Russell Viper or Bothrops Lancehead is more difficult to contrecare...
Do you have to write stuff like that about other people? You must have very low self-esteem to be so nasty towards other people. His comments were quite interesting.
it doesnt matter if its the MOST venomous, if u screw with it, ure gunna die. its like saying a blow to the head with a sniper and a shotgun are different when ure brains are gunna b on the floor later anyways.....gorey but true the black mamba is the registered most venomous and fastest, but the taipan may be faster if anyone can view results for how fast they can go, record them and send the results to deadly beutiful zoology. black mambas can go about 14-15 miles per hour and taipans.. lets c
apparantly inland taipans are australian snakes and the most deadly snake in the world and australia only owns a few deadly species in the world, the amazon has the most deadly creatures in the world and sydney is the most fucking awesome place to visit! :)
Suggest you don the brown lingerie lady if you wanna stand that close to a taipan. The python is no threat unless you're a marsupial mouse. But perhaps your brain's the same size ?
I just dont like snakes.. They all scare me.. I dont think its being American that matters.. Its being a woman.. lol The other one was behind a wall..The Python was wanting to get on me...
Unless you've had a bad experience with snakes than your fear of snakes is completely irrational. And as far as wanting your husband to wash his hands before touching you, well a snakes scales are made of keratine, which is exactly what your fingernails are made of. They also come into contact with less germs etc than we people do (especially when they live in captivity) so your actaully dirtier and more likely to be carrying some form of bacteria or disease than the snake
