@DarkKrystal While Elton is gay, i do not understand why a lot of people confuse real friendships with gay. Especially in the US the term "friend" is used too easily, for anyone they barely know from school, work, etc.

Anyhow, i personally have a good friendship with someone who happens to be gay. I am not. But it is great to have someone on the same intellectual frequency and be able to talk about anything.

If only a spouse could be a best friend too, but that's rare :-(
