  • @britishpride2 Intel Core i7 CPU 3.78Ghz

    6 GB tri-channel RAM

    Radeon HD5870 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

    2 Tb Hard Drive

  • Amazing! great vid!

  • Wow man that's just awesome. Great one!!!

  • i love flying in this type of weather in fs. i also find it easy however to land in crosswind but for some reason i always go way off the centerline on crosswind takeoffs

  • OH MY GOD. This is by far one of the best FS2004 videos in the world. Great work!

  • Great job, fav.

  • Well done!

  • awesome!

  • very nice:)!

  • hey how do you get all those views like the engines

  • Amazing! 5/5 :)

  • kool nice effects. and nice music selection with the Dire Straits song mixed with flashing for money

  • Nice vid.

  • How do you get smoke and wet runway effects?

    regards

  • Please read the coments! Thanks

  • really nice!!!

  • also to not slide on the runway you need to put your aileron in the upwind position with the rudder to maintain centerline

  • at 55kts crosswind you can do whatever you want the plane will weathercock ;-)

  • how do you get the auto brakes to work on the md-11 i cant get em to work with armed spoilers and everything and im doin manual landing with overides on well for the PMDG one

  • How do you activate the autobrake whan you plan to use it? and what setting do you select? Do you get the ABS warning light after touchdown?

I always use autobrakes and never had a problem (normally on setting1)

  • ok heres my walkthrough:

    1) Turn the AFS and other autopilot overide off (Down position)

    2) Landing lights on

    3) Autobrake 2

    4) Spoilers Armed

    5) Touchdown and ABS light doesnt go on till i manually use toe brakes because no autobrakes but spoilers deploy like normal

  • If the ABS light comes on when you use the toebrakes, that means that the autobrakes were engaged and working. Remember that the MD-11 has a very high landing speed and is normally very heavy, so it takes a while for it to slow down.

The autopilot override shouldn't be used. Only in emergencies. Maybe thats the problem??

  • Try a landing without deploying reverse thrust and see how long it takes to stop. I normally land with autobrakes on 1 and only idle reverse (thats how I was trained on the 737)

  • Fantastic Video :)

Hows the jobhunt going after getting your qualification? Was it a CPL or a frozen ATPL?

  • It was an fATPL. Jobhunt is very slow. industry is still on its knees..

  • I can imagine.. All the best.
