I always loved that goofy ass Orange Bowl mascot/logo. Looked like Charlie Brown had jaundice or something :P The early 80's was a strange time for college football...Clemson and BYU won national championships in the span of 4 years. Unfortunately, one of the programs was dirty
What a crazy ass time in Miami, first of all NEBRASKA VS. CLEMSON, then a day or two later (not sure) then the DOLPHIN S VS. CHARGERS in the EPIC IN MIAMI.

Not a bad weekend for Criqui and Brodie. This game, followed by San Diego/Miami AFC playoff that was the 2nd best game in NFL history. Wow.

This was actually the 1982 Orange Bowl.

It was for the 1981 season. The real 1981 Orange Bowl was between Oklahoma and Florida State. OU won 17-16.

No the date of the game was 1/1/1982 making it the 1982 Orange Bowl.
