If the dermatologist thinks a patients moles have any change of being cancerous they do it for free. I removed four moles on my Neck about 9 months ago. Two were done using thing operation. That left a slightly smaller and definitely lighter mark. The other two were large enough that they gave me stitches on them. The end result is a kind of faint scar about a half cm in width.

So you end up having to pay about $40 per mole and insurance covers the rest. If you don't have insurance, then you have to pay the money upfront before having them removed.
