I'm NOT standing on a soap box.. Even w/ such GREAT examples I haven't always made the best choices. Wasn't married in the temple.. Haven't always paid tithing.. I haven't even always been active.. I do know the church is true!! I also KNOW our tithing does NOT pay the Leaders of our church! Im not a "youth".. I am young though.. Many people younger then me know a whole lot more so I don't think age makes a person more or less knowledgeable. I continue to learn Ignorance is NOT bliss!
My parents are wealthy bc they've worked EXTREMELY hard. My mother has her Doctorate and my father an Entrepreneur. He's a business owner, Developer and owns quite a bit of land. My father inlaw very similar as well as a cotton farmer. My uncle is a lawyer. ALL 3 families have/do work VERY hard at their "day job" to provide for their families and then spend many nights serving the Lord in their church callings. They ALL pay tithing too and have been blessed for it!
To the other comment regarding tithing.. I can PROMISE our tithing does NOT pay the leaders of the church. My father has been bishop 2x in a family ward and 1x in the singles ward. He is now in the Stake Presidency. My father inlaw was Bishop then Stake President. My inlaws are now serving a mission on the other side of the world and is the Mission President as well as the Area Representative. My Uncle has been most of the above and is now in Quorum of the Seventy. ALL WEALTHY bc of HARDWORK!!!

@queenbunny76 None of the church leaders are paid!!!! Tithing does not go to them. It goes to building more temples and helping to fund missions. I don't know where you are getting your facts but church leaders have regular jobs and are called to their positions and do their work on top of having a regular job. The Church DOES NOT pay them! In these cases, they are given a modest living allowance, if required. The money comes from the Church's business income & not from the tithing fund or any other donations.
It must be noted that the Church pays taxes on all business income.
Being worthy to go to the tempple is crap. I never got a temple recommend because I couln't afford to give money to the church and they want money before they give out a recommend that is what the bishop told me so I left the church because I don't believe that God only want rich people.

Tithing is used to build the Kingdom of God on Earth, that includes building Temples and churches. No one is "paid" from the tithing funds. Bishops are not "paid." If you have any proof to the contrary, bring it on.

I got out of the water and it didn't hurt to walk. The swelling disappeared and I was healed. God does care about his children. I have felt his closeness throughout my life. If anyone is curious about anything, just ask me and maybe I can answer to an extent, or maybe I can just share an experience similar to what your asking to tell you how I know what I believe in is what I want to believe in, and it will play its part in getting me to Heaven :) Love you all <3
I love going to the temple to perform baptisms for the dead for other people. I always get this close feeling to God. I fell a lightness in my bones when they do the laying on of hands like I can fly to God and His son, Jesus Christ, and when I step out of the water, my injuries are healed. Maybe not all people can understand it, but one time I sprained my ankle pretty badly and it hurt to walk. It had been hurting for a couple of months and my entire foot had swollen like two sizes too big...

Me and the other deacons of my quorom have been going every week to the temple ever since I turned 12. Now I am almost a teacher. I plan on going with them though. I love the temple. It takes my stress away and I can feel at peace with the love of the spirit of God with me.

i have 4 temples all a few hours away,also know as Newport Beach Temple,Los Angeles Temple,Redlands Temple,and San Deigo Temple, thats California for ya. but i love every one of them,and i like this song cause i am going there someday really soon,cause i just turned my papers in :D.
I get to see a lot of temples every year and im only younger ten. my grandma and grandpa live in Logan Utah and you can see the temple outside their window, my cousin lives in Draper Utah and you can see the temple right outside her bedroom window, I get to see the Mesa Arizona temple all the time 'cause my grandma lives their and we go there a lot, and my mom gotta sing in the Tabernacle choir once randomly. the conductor said, "Join us." 'cause she randomly wore the same colors as the choir.

I'm NOT standing on a soap box.. Even w/ such GREAT examples I haven't always made the best choices. Wasn't married in the temple.. Haven't always paid tithing.. I haven't even always been active.. I do know the church is true!! I also KNOW our tithing does NOT pay the Leaders of our church! Im not a "youth".. I am young though.. My parents are wealthy bc they've worked EXTREMELY hard. My mother has her Doctorate and my father an Entrepreneur. He's a business owner, Developer and owns quite a bit of land. My father inlaw very similar as well as a cotton farmer. My uncle is a lawyer. ALL 3 families have/do work VERY hard at their "day job" to provide for their families and then spend many nights serving the Lord in their church callings. They ALL pay tithing too and have been blessed for it!

To the other comment regarding tithing.. I can PROMISE our tithing does NOT pay the leaders of the church. My father has been bishop 2x in a family ward and 1x in the singles ward. He is now in the Stake Presidency. My father inlaw was Bishop then Stake President. My inlaws are now serving a mission on the other side of the world and is the Mission President as well as the Area Representative. My Uncle has been most of the above and is now in Quorum of the Seventy. ALL WEALTHY bc of HARDWORK!!!

I don't know where you are getting your facts but church leaders have regular jobs and are called to their positions and do their work on top of having a regular job. The Church DOES NOT pay them! I got out of the water and it didn't hurt to walk. The swelling disappeared and I was healed. God does care about his children. I have felt his closeness throughout my life. I love going to the temple to perform baptisms for the dead for other people. I always get this close feeling to God. I fell a lightness in my bones when they do the laying on of hands like I can fly to God and His son, Jesus Christ, and when I step out of the water, my injuries are healed. Maybe not all people can understand it, but one time I sprained my ankle pretty badly and it hurt to walk. It had been hurting for a couple of months and my entire foot had swollen like two sizes too big...

Me and the other deacons of my quorom have been going every week to the temple ever since I turned 12. Now I am almost a teacher. I plan on going with them though. I love the temple. It takes my stress away and I can feel at peace with the love of the spirit of God with me.

@bill199317 when i was a young women i could not go in because i was not worthy and i had to watch my friends go in while i stood outside. it hurts but things have changed now the lord still loves you regardless
the day you both go back into the temple will be one of the happiest days for the lord i know that for a fact.

i have 4 temples all a few hours away,also know as Newport Beach Temple,Los Angeles Temple,Redlands Temple,and San Deigo Temple, thats California for ya. but i love every one of them,and i like this song cause i am going there someday really soon,cause i just turned my papers in :D.

I get to see a lot of temples every year and im only younger ten. my grandma and grandpa live in Logan Utah and you can see the temple outside their window, my cousin lives in Draper Utah and you can see the temple right outside her bedroom window, I get to see the Mesa Arizona temple all the time 'cause my grandma lives their and we go there a lot, and my mom gotta sing in the Tabernacle choir once randomly. the conductor said, "Join us." 'cause she randomly wore the same colors as the choir.

i love goin to the salt lake temple every 3rd saturday morning to go for baptism for the dead...my day is always perfect after attendin it..the temple is the best place to go to...aww..im a beehive in the salt lake tongan stake...and i juss love it..

The Mormon Church is devoted to Genealogy and Temple ordinances for the dead. Yet the practice is not mentioned once in the Book of Mormon. In fact in 1Nephi 6, it states that Genealogy is of no worth to the children of men. And In 1Timothy and Titus it declares that Genealogy should be avoided. The LDS are a cult of Temple worshippers, immersed in secret Handshakes, Signs and Tokens, where only Tithe payers can enter Mormon Heaven. Money is the real Mormon God.

You are speaking to some members who do not know the changes that have occurred in LDS temples. Older members that entered any LDS temple before the early 90's know the difference in ordinances to today's. The YW and YM attend temples to practice baptism for the dead. While the tithe paying adults practice ordinances to enter the highest level of heaven. Best be known that Smith and Hyrum were masons, and many of the temple ordinances derived from freemasonry.

Are you trying to hide or construe where the temple ordinances come from? The ordinances did not come from revelation nor from the BofM. Bofm contains no teaching on the need for temple rituals, eternal marriage, plural gods, mans pre-mortal existence, proxy work for the dead, 3 levels of heaven, or external progression.
Read Alma 34 v31-35
It clearly states that you need to repent now because NO labor can be done in your behalf after your death

The Temple Ceremony closely resembled the Masonic Initiation Ceremony, with signs(hands), tokens and penalties(Bood Oaths). You know it and I know it.
