heyy alex(: idk if this is a little late, but for your room if you don't want it to be too dark, just have an accent wall and paint one the plum and the others a lighter, brighter color! that's what im doing actually! im having a deep purple on the wall behind my bed and the rest a light gray. that may not be a bright fun color but then i can spice up the walls with pictures and stuff(: i hope this helps!

i painted my room apple froth by benjamin moore n its a gorgeous light green. i love it!!!! so go check it out! :) also, i think that plum may make ur room look very small n dark, but if u have white furniture n while wall decoration n bright accsesories, i dont think it will make ur room look too gloomy...haha i dont think i have ever used gloomy in a sentence :) i hope this helped <3

why not just do a feature wall in plum and the rest white so it won't look too dark? or a feature wall of lighter wallpaper but with plum colours in it and the other walls plum so it all comes together nicely but also isn't too dark! :)

They make a warm vanilla sugar perfume at bath&body works! I have it and it stays on so much longer. I love it! Also, if you want the body mist to last longer you can get a non-smelling lotion ( I like the Aveeno), squirt it in your hand, put 3 sprays of the body mist into it, rub it together, and put it on your arms. I do that when I don't feel like using a perfume and it works wonders! :) The perfume is on sale too!

hey alex!(: my friend wanted to paint here walls plum but like you she didnt want it to look to dark so what she did was paint her main wall in her room, which is the wall your bed is on plum. and she painted the other three walls i grey color, and sometimes in the light the grey looks like it has a purple/plum hint to it. i hope this helped you tell me what you think.-Shelby

the colors 'summer plum' 'passion plum' and 'plum royale' from benjamin moore are all really pretty versions of plum but not too dark. if you didnt want to do all four walls the same you could do too one plum and two the other. or two one plum and two white. or one plum and three white.

Plum walls WILL make your room really dark. :( But it'll look great if you have a big room... not so much in a little one. Try maybe painting it in a pastel color and do little details in plum.

my friend has her room painted a dark blue/purple and she has a white ceiling and the white ceiling kinda cancels out the darkness of the wall color so it creates a really pretty balance

aha i litteraly just finished painting my room like 30 mins ago.

if you like plum it will make your room look smaller and dark, what i did was chose my favourite colour and painted the main/ focus wall that colour and the rest like a cream colour. the cream makes your room brighter and appear larger but the accent colour adds to the brightness and its your favourite colour, u could also choose a lighter plum to paint your whole room but it will make it dark

I think plum might be a little dark and overwhelming in your room. You might want to try a lighter purple such as lilac or lavendar. That would look nice and warm in your room. Hope I helped :) Room tour please!
