Reminds me of when my dog was a puppy and loved to play with our neighbor's kitten (well the kitten wasn't too young). Unfortunately, as my dog rapidly grew, her relationship with the cat broke apart. I remember walking by our neighbor's house with my dog when she was almost full grown, with their cat sitting on the steps. This is basically what happened in dog and cat language:

My dog: Hey, what's up? Long time no see!

Neiighbor's cat: AAAAH! MONSTER!!!
