  • keiji smettila di fare solo casino per un cazzo. non chiamate noise questa roba qua , piuttosto andate ad ascoltare i gravitar , epoche diverse ,ma rumore fatto bene,

  • Fantastic, but at the seven minute mark, I sure feel like I'm procrastinating....

  • The John Zorn of Japan.

  • sir your standing to close to the speaker

  • People actually PAY to listen to this?

    Wow....

I'm just as talentless as that male yoko ono and I could sure use some monies.

  • @saumonnn

    K.

  • this is nearly the biggest shit of music i've ever seen/heard!

  • @zarmu86 I understand what you mean but 1. art doesn't have to be ''pretty'' 2. I'm sure his goals in making this are not to entertain you

  • This is incredible, and what may i ask is "actual music"??? Top 40 lamestream mtv crap? No thanks!

  • For those of you who dont understand...

You should be prepared for anything but most of all, you must be willing to work at it. Once you have worked with this music, it'll open up to you and you will discover that it is endless, that everything you expected music to be, it is. there is no hidden agenda here, this is music, real music, for the sake of music. this is where music begins and ends.

For a little hard work on your part, and it is hard initially; the reward is infinite.

  • Fuck me, I don't know what to think.

  • @damnthistinleg Why is it necessary to emit opinions about art?

  • @caoutchoucmilisec

Surely the essence of any art form is to evoke and occasionally, provoke emotion. As it's a perfectly normal human desire to communicate feelings with others, you shouldn't be too surprised when comments are made. While we're on the subject, you seem to be leaving quite a few of your own comments so you may wish to bear that fact in mind before commenting on others. My short and valid statement was purely to express shock and confusion following my viewing of the piece.

  • @damnthistinleg I think you missunderstood me. I was trying to say the same thing you did in the first row but took literally the ''think'' part. =) and thought this has nothing to do with the reasonnow I understand. On topic,I used to think artists like this are just pretentious imposters who managed to create an audience on the sole fact off our craving for individuation. Now I understand I was the pretentious ignorant but this has value.not in the sense of musical hrmny offc but Catharsis

  • Holy shit......I think I blew a speaker.....my dogs freaked out and hid!

  • What....the.....

  • Did he say what I thought he did? Hendrix would love him.

  • nothing about this is even real. like i refuse to believe that this person exists. Its an embarrassment to him/her and to people that dedicate their lives to playing actual music

  • @avsblue3 darling, music is emotions and he is capable of giving emotions to the people, i get feelings from this "shit" and normally normal music doesnt give me those emotions, i recommedn you try leasening to more avantgarde and soon youl aprecciate it, its challenging but i tink u can

  • @avsblue3 your statement makes me laugh, i play music every day and respect all kinds of music... you have no variety in musical taste.. music like this is about complete expression without the limitations.. its the freedom to completely improvise.. to be free of standards.. i can see how one who plays a certain style can get stuck in thinking other less conventional styles arent worthy.. but this is more of an experiment with sound/consciousness then it is music

  • deep

  • Thanks for putting this up. His dedication and total immersion in the moment is amazing and inspirational.

  • lol this is not music. this is barely even performance art.

  • junkie ?!:S

  • Truly what music should be if everyone what not such fucking sheep sucking off the tit of christianity and its standards. NO FUN! NO MOSS!

  • i275.photobucket(dot)com/albums/jj303/Thatairsoftkid/HatersGonnaHate(dot)jpg

Some people get too defensive when they can't grasp something that other people love.

  • Shit reminds me of Buckethead. Except the singing is so fucked up.

  • This is fucking stupid, anyone who likes this stuff is a counter-culture idiot attempting to be deep by liking the unlikable. You would have to have some kind of mental disorder to seriously enjoy this kind of wankery.

  • @mul33tto

did you even watch past the first couple minutes? it got good.

  • I played music like this back when I was 12 and had just got my first stagg

  • 観客のポカーンはいいとして、照明戸惑いすぎww

  • i love his music :)

  • hahaha, this is all sorts of hilarious.. as soon he/she starts "singing" i could not stop laughing.

  • Why isn't this 5 stars?

What's the matter guys? Too DEEP, for you?

  • psichiatric s-music

  • I'd want to bring ear plugs, but it would be awesome to hear this live.

  • he reminds me of helen keller... i really loled when i had a picture of helen keller with a guitar in my head

  • Listen to the second part with the electric guitar, especially 5:43~6:10. There IS melody here, and this is the first time I heard this guy's stuff, and I think he's pretty damn good.

  • Great video, Haino is one of my favorites.

  • Christ on a bike!

  • sweet titties.

    guy fucking aces that guitar

  • wtf!!!!!!!! man this must b on sum crazy lsd or sumthing

  • This is pure expression without any limits

  • this is pure hilariousness without any limits. this chick is fucking awesome.

  • easy to say if you watch the videos available, but he is capable of making beautiful music and opts often not to, in favor of expression; you'd have to visit his entire output to hear the moments of pure beauty and it's a trying venture... but just don't write him off as someone who "sucks", he is challenging.

  • @eyesofforever so should he be wanking a scale and singing a catchy tune?

  • congratulations on becoming the most fatuous, close-minded and just plain incorrect dumbass of the year - Keiji Haino is hardly huge, which makes me assume you deliberately came onto this video to troll others with your completely inarticulate pseudo opinions. Go away

  • this guy is mad.......

  • i..REALLY..can't understand his "music" O.o

  • ir's a charango

  • oh, lol, so thats what this guy sounds like.

  • It's definitely a mandolin. Ukuleles don't have that many strings.

  • no one thinks ukelele?

  • I don't understand.

  • ooooh yeahhh....

  • incredible

  • It neither makes me laugh...

What kind of Fun Fest is it? Passive...

  • nice

  • All Hail Keiji Haino!

  • i agree with him. he is right. everything he says is true in my opinion.

  • could be a mandolin...

  • its a mandolin.

  • ukelele?

  • Where can more of Keiji Haino be found? To download or buy

  • der größte müll den ich kenn.

  • @Saitensprung

    ach du spinnst doch.

    Ist halt experimentelle Musik

  • omg that's some epic feedback looping.

  • i think he's using an air synth or an air fx run through alot of pedals not a feedback loop

  • @wideyed66

Do you mean Mizutani from Les Rallizes Denudes?

Well, I can't remember that he freaks out like Keiji!

  • The dude in the green is definitely not having fun.

  • MARRY ME

  • I love Keiji.

  • haino. pure haino.

  • OUCH.

  • this is quite cool , even i don't really like his some ambient works, but this one must be perfect. something inside his voice not just power, he tooks a futher step about using voice compare to other avant/noise artist such as eye,junko....

  • The curious thing is that, whatever he does, it's always recognisably him. There's an intensity in even the quietist piece. An absolute focus. He once played with Einsturzende Neubauten in Death Valley - what I would give to have experienced that...

  • This may be the best Haino-related video available on the web. Holy shit, I think I love him.

  • simply brilliant

  • lol, I love it.

  • holy crapoly! that hit the spot! one of the best noise performances i've seen on here. can I have some more please?

  • i come back to hear the first section from time to time
