Nice overall, however, the valve gear is off.. The radius rod should not be at a downward angle.. it should be upwards connecting to the top of the combo lever..

Hey you guys should do auxiliary tenders for us who like to run excursion trains, come on with all the Gs loco's out there it would sell so good... oh and make it powered too! Some might call that cheating, but you can never have to much grunt :)

@potzahasee01 Give him thumbs up if you think he is right, and they should make auxiliary tenders! Its not like they don't make them in O-Scale already so they have the mold. Idk about powered, it would cost alot more if they go that way, but i guess you could make both? Powered would be really really awesome though....

i have a dreyfuss hudson of mth an i the decoder burned out it wont respond to either addresses i bought it almost a year ago so would it still be under warranty thanks

MTH sold me a new model of GS4 and was pre-broken, the model had burned decoder. Mth I failed to correct a model already 1.5 years MTH refuses to recognize a guarantee because the model was bought from a dealer Walthers site MTH People are irresponsible and do not recognize their own warranty models.

yup it should work fine, im using kato unitrack with dcc.

Hello out there, can anyone tell me how good the loco is in pulling trains uphill? I need to know it since I´m planing to have the GS-4 pulling a 12 car Sunset Limited on grades

they pull better than the k4 that they have but they still could do better. you should be alright if you put the traction tires on it

I thought that the engine is already equipped with traction tires, it´s said on the website! Now u confused me a bit. So are the drivers already equipped with traction tires or do you have to buy them separately??

um it comes with them in the box but i dont know if it comes with them already on, i work at a model railroad shop, i'll check tomorrow
