  • I'm sure people have already said this, but you should upload the pre-2005 music. btw, great work!

  • i love your piano work

  • they should youse your music on the ride!

  • your just so freking awesome

  • Chords?!!!

  • @ImagineeerTim Mostly a lot of tritone leaps (e.g., G to C# or C to F#). =)

  • AWESOME. I was wondering if you have the Piano sheets? :D

  • wow thats awesome

  • Can you please re upload this SICK sheet music? I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN IT FOR MY SENIOR RECITAL NEXT YEAR FOR SCHOOL! I am learning Soarin' for it as well :]

  • @hardstylevsbmw I only had the sheet music for the first part of the piece, not the whole thing, and even that part would need some work...sorry! =/

  • @1taken Ah, it's cool! Soarin' is amazing! ;D

  • @hardstylevsbmw Glad you like it! If you're interested in World of Color, be sure to check out my sheet music for its opener, too!

  • @1taken Thanks!

  • Oh my god that was the awesomest and most epic thing I have heard in my life.

I'm looking forward to learning this.

    is it hard? -_-

  • @Bakuganfunnies Thanks! :D It's definitely not an easy piece, though none of my arrangements are TOO hard.

  • @1taken

    I would imagine :p

I can't even figure out how it starts :p

Well, I'll figure it out somehow.

  • at one time u had the sheet music.. what happend?

  • for some reason i think 2:00 is epic...

  • This is amazing. I had no idea you did this all by ear. I had a hunch you did this yourself because in my experience published piano arrangements rarely capture orchestral embellishments the way your arrangements do, which i'm sure you already know... that, and well, i'm pretty sure it's hard to track down official sheet music for many disney attractions. But great job.

  • How long would it last if everybody wanted a piano only day for the theme parks and Disney changed the sound systems for each ride.

  • can you do the pre-refurbishment space mountain song? The Dick Dale one, I really miss that!

  • Is the link still working or could you email it to me? :D This is sick! Thumbs up and 5*!

  • @jessicadrewfilms Oh, wait I meant to put it isn't working :( I need this for a piano recital in the winter, I am doing this piece.. actually could you please email it to me? :)

  • @jessicadrewfilms Sorry, the file's gone now. =( In any case, it was only the sheet music for the first part of the piece - I never wrote down the harder second half at all. Just gotta learn it by ear like I did, I guess! :D

  • @1taken DARN! LOL This is one of the best pieces I have ever heard on the piano!!! Do you perhaps know the key?

  • @jessicadrewfilms Haha, it's a fun one, yep. :D It starts out in G major, then goes into C major...once the fast stuff starts, it's in Ab major...after the biggest drop, it's in Db major...and then the exit music is G major again.

  • @1taken Awesome, thank you!

  • the link in the description isn't working.

  • How bout a piano month so people would get used to it and do it once a year with it being a different month each year.

  • @Rayquaza509 I second that. I still wish Disney would do a surprise piano only day. :o

  • I still love this version a lot and wish Disney would do a surprise (piano only) day where they make all the audio attractions piano mode done by a Imagineer Professional or better yet use your versions.

  • This version is SO much more realistic and peaceful then the other version by a different user. :)

Thanks for uploading this as it must've been a pain in the rear to make this.

  • half these views are from me haha, 100000000/1

  • your link isn't working

  • love it

  • Wow this is great! I just went to Disneyland and this is my favorite ride. The music totally makes the ride so much better. I got the pdf file for part of the music... is there anyway I can get the entire song? Anyway great song!

  • Darn. I'm trying to write a band medley of Disney attraction music.

  • That should be pretty sweet! Wish I could be of more help...just listen really closely to which instrument is playing what, and then figure out how you want to convey the same musical ideas with the instruments you find in a band. =D

  • Do you have the music for the rest of the song?

  • Sorry, I haven't written it down, no. =(

  • The sheet music link does not exist. Or I am typing it wong

  • It's still there - I just double checked. Make sure you're typing the URL exactly as I describe it! =)

  • @1taken thanks, I figured it out. (didn't help that I was doing it on my iPod before :D)

  • Love this song so much. When I was at Disneyland last summer we went on the ride over and over again basically just for the music.

  • this is amazing!!!!!

  • I actually met Micheal Giacchino. He was at the D23 Convention. It was cool meeting him in person.

  • AMAZING!! Wathc out for the sharps and flats, though. Its a little sharp or flat(I cant tell...) but other wise this is amazing!!!!

  • I think you're talking about the tuning of the piano, in which case, don't worry - it's been tuned since this recording. =D

  • I love Giacchino! I wish I could play by ear like this!!

    May I make a request?

have you ever heard medal of honor frontline (game music)? that's by giacchino too and it's very nice. I wonder what it'd sound like on piano...

  • Thanks! I've heard some of his MOH work, but I'm afraid I have no plans to work up complete arrangements of it right now. =/

  • @GeneralVariety

no wonder when I was playing that game I kept think of space mountain!

  • did you record with midi?

  • Nope, just a regular old upright piano and a laptop with a microphone plugged into it. =)

  • i love playing on piano but i dont have one, maybe i will buy one next year. can you record it on midi or you cant because the piano doenst have the midi plug?

  • Well, this is a piano, not a keyboard, so I definitely can't plug it in. XD Real pianos sound much better than keyboards, anyway.

  • yeah pianos are so much better. but my cousin has an upright piano, and there is a special place where he can plug midi and earphones . i guess you don't have it

  • Well, that has to be a keyboard, an electronic instrument, even if it's made to look like a traditional upright piano. There's no way to plug a MIDI cable into a real piano, and definitely no way to plug headphones into one. A real piano has strings inside that vibrate to make noise - it'd be like putting headphones on a harp! =P

  • it has strings...maybe its an upright digital piano or something

  • Could be an electric piano, I guess, one that has strings with pickups, like an electric guitar. I'm no expert in such things. But in any case, I can guarantee you won't find a plain old acoustic piano with a headphone socket and MIDI port. =D

  • woooo!

  • wow bravo bravo sounds nice

  • It's amazing that anybody can do this. I mean, it's way cool! I'd like to see Joe figure out the California Screamin' soundtrack for the piano next. I think that would be cool.

  • that would be cool

  • wow that is truly amazing. i tried doing it by ear but it didnt turn out nearly as great!!

    :)

  • mind if I make a request? roger rabbits toon spin (love that music)

  • I might eventually...we'll see!

  • Very good. I've always loved this music, especially since Giacchino is my favorite composer.

  • I agree, Giacchino is a genius!

  • Well here I am AGAIN. Well this one was amazing too! I always like to close my eyes and listen to it and like rock back and forth in my seat and pretend I'm on the ride. (I dont really do the rock back and forth part) But yeah your music is amazing, keep it up! I think you should do the music for more of the disney rides, YOUR AMAZING!

  • Thank you! I hope to do more recordings this summer. :D

  • That would be amazing! Then I would have more dies to rock back and forth too. (Psh really I don't do that...no but really I don't) But anyway you are still amaing even after the like 100th time i have watched this.

  • Haha glad to know I'm not the only one that does that. lol

  • How did you figure out how to do the actual ride music? Did you play by ear?

  • Yep, all by ear! =)

  • Could you maybe make a sheet for it and give it to me??

  • Gotta read the video descriptions - they can be mighty helpful. ;D

  • That only gives you the 2 lift hills. I'm talking about the actual ride portion of it.

  • That part I haven't written down. =(

  • can you please write it down?

  • It's too difficult to write it down! =( Can you please figure it out by ear for yourself? ;D

  • WHOA THATS SIIICK

  • well if you ever decide to i have the full song on my channel

  • can you do the star tunnel music i have it on my channel i think it would sound great on piano

  • simply amazing!

  • I like the sheet music you have, just too bad it is only the start haha...

You should make a video of you playing, I am sure we would all love to see it live, and we could learn to play parts just by watching

    Just a suggestion though!

  • This is amazing!! And without sheet music! Way to go!!

Do you know of any sheet music that is similar to this?

Thanks and keep up the good work!!

  • woooooow...

    l l Q

amazing i felt like i was back on the ride!

  • this is my ringtone.
