I wanted to notify all fans of Eleanor Parker's that someone else and I are putting together a petition to the Academy to give Eleanor an Honorary Award. We aren't positive that this will work, but we have a strong desire to try. If you're interested, just leave a comment/message on my channel. After seeing on ABC tv;the 40thanniversay of "The sound of music"they invite Julie Andrews and all who played Trapp infants.They remember Christopher Plummer and they don't even mentionned Eleonor Parker.This make me so sad.But Thanks basilnelson for the tribute to the queen diva of Hollywood.

Eleanor is retired at the age of 86 years. Her last screen appearance was in 1991. The music in the video is Ennio Morricone's 'Love Theme Fortunata'. Glad you enjoyed the tribute.

Yes as Baz stated Eleanor is retired. And a few years back when she was invited to participate in a documentary about Sound of Music she declined the offer. But last year she was interviewed at a Film NOIR festival thing in Palm Springs, California saw a pic of her at the event she looks as if she may have suffered a stroke but still looks quite good.
