  • i didn't vote

  • Right... "VOTE VOTE VOTE JUST VOTE YOU HAVE TO VOTE VOTE COME ON VOTE PEOPLE YOU DON'T VOTE-! COME ON! VOTE!"

    That is the argument. Seriously.

  • lmao

  • Don't vote

  • Whoever shot this video and everyone involved in it are totally brainless. If the video was so stupid and superficial, then why hundreds of thousands people registered to vote after watching it? Maybe you guys are sooooooo clever you didn't need celebrities to tell you what to do, but it sure made a difference, like it or not. Buttfaces.

  • @beleta83, ya, they got a bunch of idiots to go out and vote, and now we are the subjects of Obama. Thanks for "making a difference".

  • @Houshalter You're welcome, anytime. And I'm sure McCain would've done it better. FYI, they were just trying to get people involved, NO MATTER WHO YOU VOTE, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE AND YOU SHOULD. But yeah, it is so easy to blame the black guy in a country full of rednecks and sheets with holes.

  • @beleta83, No one has the right to vote. Do I have a right to kill you? No. So why on earth do I get the "right" to "vote" for someone to do it for me?

    watch?v=KXNRzI64L9Q

  • @Houshalter, I used mean words to response and I apologize for it. Let me please make my statement and maybe I'll make myself more understandable the first time around. What bothered me about this video was that they were insulting, and that made me mad, although it didn't give me the right to insult back. My point is, couldn't we just say what we wanna say, respectfully, and accept everyone else's opinions without getting bitter? They made a video, you made another one... End of the story.

  • @beleta83 Agreed. We the masses ARE idiots. We need celebrities to clue us in. It's sad, but we do. Still, this vid was funny. (And hot).

  • Brilliant!!!!

  • this was retarded.

  • No, I liked the other one, because they had a point...this one is just annoying and kinda stupid. why the hell are you so pissed off? they're just trying to get out a message.

  • Jack from Titanic! =) <3

  • yea this is not funny. maybe if you guys got better looking people i would pay attention. hey like the other one. i dont get it. they just said go vote. wtf what are you guys ranting about?

  • @savecharles, anyone dumb enough to change their minds and vote because they saw someone famous tell them to shouldn't be allowed to vote in the first place.

  • you guys are too funny! i like that guy who likes ross and jack

  • The truth about voting is right here,

and that's not even a stupid joke:

    watch?v=igbBItLemsM

  • I liked it until you bashed Ellen, who I think IS actually fairly aware and does make an effort to express her opinion regardless of it's popularity. She's fantastical. :)

And Elbowbiter1, I don't really know what to say to people like you. The government is NOT out to ruin every one's lives and manipulate us. There are a lot of idiots in the world that collectively vote in less than intelligent canidates... however, that doesn't mean anything is rigged.

  • i'm not voting, and never will for as long as i live :D

  • No, we're idiots.

  • Nice video

  • I can understand disregarding and making fun of celebrity endorsements. But, hell, if you can get more people to vote, is that bad? I like voting. It's good.

  • @elbowbiter1 WOW... lets just overlook for a moment the amount of tax payers money the US government has to spend just to get people to vote due to the absence of a compulsory voting system and consider just for a moment how lucky we are to live in countries where Democracy exists! If you would rather sit on the couch and watch TV all day than hall ass to the voting booth be my guest... But don't bitch when someone is elected who can take that power away from you! Ignorance is a bitch not bliss!

  • @rodstickles3 Where to begin? If Party A steals from Party C at the behest of Party B. You would contend then that Party A and C are innocent and party B got what he deserved and has no grievance? No? Well why is it true when it comes to voting? Well because you believe the propaganda you were shown regarding democracies. I think the way I do cuz I don't watch TV, sit around all day and complain. That's what voters do, nothing.

  • @rodstickles3 No, just bitch when the person you voted for turns out bad or the person that other people voted for turns out bad. Wait, wouldn't the latter kind of be like a non-voter bitching about the sociopaths that voters elect?

  • @rodstickles3, Democracy is mob rule. I am not thankful at all that my neighbors get to decide what I can do with myself and my property.

Voting implies giving your consent to the government, or at the very least the canidate you voted for. Therefore, if you voted you have no right to complain about what the government does.

  • @pokezeldafan It's not bad, but it is condescending. We're adults. We already understand the value of voting, and we don't need celebrities telling us how important it is.

  • ...right!!!

  • ahahaha!

  • very witty and very true. im sure some actors are very socially aware but so am i and i wasn't asked to be in a voting campaign so whats the difference: they are actors.

  • that is very funny

  • "Spiderman told me to vote!!! Shazaam"

  • Politicians themselves are actor-like famous, they go on talk-shows and stuff, and i heard no one complaining about that. I mean, famous people use their image to do all sorts of things, not necessarily in their sphere. And that's because, whether you want it or not, they do have a certain influence on young people especially. And if it can bring young people to even considering voting and getting interested in politics, then i really don't see the problem.

  • this is actually quite funny... hehe

~~Auzzie sista, still glad obama won :P

  • Celebrities are stupid

You do know that? Right? Right. Right?

Maybe Jennifer Aniston should answer since she's so fucking smart and all...

  • Exactly, abortion RIGHTS, not pro choice, gun laws not gun CONTROL. They advocated the ability to make a decision based on the policies the individual may see fit. They aren't propagating their own beliefs, they simply said go out there, learn the facts and vote.

24 million youth voted this election, a sweepingly unprecedented amount, and it was because they were being notified and motivated by various organizations. Something I am sure the assholes in this video never thought to do at 18.

  • this is pretty funny in a sarcastic tone, the best spoof is dont watch nicolas cage movies though

  • If a bunch of pretty actors can't MAKE me go vote, then certainly a bunch of ugly nobodies won't STOP me from voting either!

  • love it

  • i thought it wasn't bad but in somewhat way true

  • Great video! Obviously some people don't pay attention to actors....

  • How did this help anyone out?

    I don't understand.

All I see is a bunch of sarcastic cunts.

  • i totally agree

  • me 3

  • Cute. I'm tired of Holly Wood actually pretendingto have a clue about anything other than the latest fashion trends in handbags or 5 star rehab facilities.

  • you seem like a bonafide jackass.

what an ignorant individual you are. you're not clever, or rebelling you are simply perpetrating unnecessary hate.

  • this was awesome.

  • This video rocks my vote!

  • Hey,

I parodized this thing too! Check it out

  • I have a crush on the "I had a crush on" guy. :)

  • Oh this was maybe the best response video I have ever scene. Of course we are not allowed to post on the actual "5 friends" video because they don't want to hear anything negative about their super sized egos. If I hear one more Hollywood actor telling me what to do on social issues I am going to ...................

  • You're going to what... Learn the difference between scene and SEEN?

  • This is so sad.

  • Are you ALL FUCKING MORONS!?

The 5 Friends vid is to get people thinking

The only reason you dumbasses even made fun of it is because you're jealous of them and you know it!

What, you think YOU'RE smarter and more "socially aware" because you're NOT famous?

Actors aren't allowed to try to motivate people to vote? Well I guess neither should the politicians because hey, they're famous & they have lots of money

This vid isn't funny or clever & the only vid I saw with NO beautiful ppl was this 1

  • Fucking ditto.

  • the hollywood hate machine produces another piece of junk

  • Awesome video response! Thanks!

  • Ah...this video totally emcompasses my cynical behavior towards famous people. This made my day.

  • Thank you that Hollywood video was the worst most disgusting video ever! thank God for writers or they would all be out of a job. Not to many of them were beautiful, if any at all!!! and they even don't have a place to comment, isn't that a hint to how bad the video was??

  • why was the original so horrible? all they were doing was trying to get uninterested and uninformed people out there to vote. they never said pick a side. they simply said vote. you guys are all fucking assholes.

  • they didnt pick a side. every time they talked about an issue it was about abortion rights the right to choose and gun laws.

  • Barack Obama, who made an effort to go to his church every Sunday for 20 years, said, 'I never heard Wright say all that stuff.' Once again, folks, common sense and reality somehow escape Obama, and yet he gets away with creating an illusion that people somehow swallow

  • Yeah, it's funny that our democracy is based on the "slim majority of voter turnout", the lowest in the democratic world... and when stars that have money and news coverage ask people to vote? "Yeah man that's totally un-american to vote!"

Bitch about Damon talking about Palin, fine, but bitching about getting voter turnout is completely and totally unamerican, unpatriotic and typical. (oh yeah, it's totally racist and sexist too)

  • This is not simply a race between two parties. It is a race to save our nation from destructive changes.

  • Amen!

  • To all Democrats:

Don't vote! But if you have to vote... then the official consensus here is safety!

It has come to my attention that violence may permeate the polling stations/places/locations, therefore to quell any potential violence(!), the dates have been split up! Yes! On Wednesday, the Democrats should vote & on Tuesday the Republicans should vote.

All of the Independents or whatever can vote on either day!

This is done to make sure problems are kept to a minimum! Good idea!

  • I only vote IF rich liberal celebrities TELL me NOT to vote!

    Rename them the DUMMYcrats!

  • HOLLYWEIRD!

  • Spiderman told me to vote!

    I guess I will.

  • Wow that was amazing!

    Sarcasm for the win!

  • Great

  • LMAO

    dumbass hollytards

  • Rated 5 and added to favorites. Thanks for the chuckles!

  • Thats so funny good job LMAO

  • lol, show this to the movie stars... i bet they won't get it.

  • hahaha, that was good!

  • My thoughts... exactly. Screw Hollyweird.

    FIVE STAR SARCASM !!!

  • Well done!

  • Is it just me, or does the younger looking Caucasian with the black fleece and blue undershirt look like the same guy who's in the LetFreedomRing commercials. I don't think this video is nonpartisan.

  • This is the worst, I have ever seen.

  • BRILLIANT! Greatest video ever.

  • maybe it's just me but what exactly is wrong about making an ad encouraging people to vote?

  • "what exactly is wrong about making an ad encouraging people to vote?"

What's wrong is that there's nothing sacred about voting. It's not the highest ideal. Liberty is the highest ideal. Democracy can protect liberty if it involves engaged, informed citizens. It doesn't protect liberty -- in fact, it threatens it -- when every Tom, Dick and Harry is voting simply for the sake of voting, as if casting a ballot is a sacred act unto itself.

  • Oh, yes. Let's all listen to the self ascribed smart person. Only "informed" citizens should be allowed to vote? It's that sort of thinking that quickly degenerates into an "all animals are created equal but some are more equal than others" Orwellian nightmare. You don't get to decide who is worthy of voting. This is a democracy. What you are describing is fascism. I'll pass.

  • Oh, yes. It's much better to let people who have no clue vote. Why not just flip a coin to decide who wins elections? Because if people are making uninformed decisions, I'd rather trust fate.

  • I think the point is that people who intend on voting should do it respnsibly, why got to the pulls and play eenie meenie miney mo? We all have the right to vote and the responsibilty to become informed and educated before casting that vote. Otherwise-what are we really voting for? What is the point?

  • Kelly Knowles is right.

ProjectDan, you're combating a strawman. I didn't say anything about "getting to decide" who votes. Indeed, "liberty is the highest ideal" counters your hapless "fascism" cry out of the gate.

Yes, this is a democracy. Everyone has, and should have, the right to vote. That's not the same, though, as saying we should actively encourage everyone to vote *just for the sake of voting*. There's no value in that. It doesn't service anything. Voting isn't the highest ideal.

  • Until I saw a the original "Don't Vote Video", I didn't even know I COULD vote. The Hollywood people have been telling me, for 8 years, that we live in a dictatorship. I thought we couldn't vote anymore. Dangit!!! ;)

  • great video. never listen to people who make their fortunes in the world of make believe. never. never. never.

  • People who make their fortunes in the world of make believe? You're kidding right?

You've got to be one of the most uneducated people on the plant. Congrats.

  • i would not assume that skippy. what is it that hollywood produces? nothing but make-believe BS. what do actors do? earn a buck playing make-believe.

did you really need me to explain it to you? LOL

  • OK, i just looked at your "favorites" and have determined i have assigned waaaaaay too much intellect and value to your opinion.

  • Wow alright smart guy. First of all my "favorite videos" do not give you any insight on my intelligence and well I just looked at your website which made me laugh, and now I know why you're such a dick :)

  • wow, you found it all by yourself or did mommy help you between Clay Aiken videos and that Dancin' with the Stars episode you recorded?

  • hahaha you dumbass. I don't even like Clay Aiken, nor have I ever watched a single episode of dancing with the stars. That show is a joke.

    As are you...

now... go to hell you dumb piece of Military shit.

  • i don't get it, what's the message?

  • yes, yes, I hate Hollywood too. The 5 friends thing had no effect on me for that reason.

But a pretty huge number of people are obsessed with celebrities, and for them the 5 friends thing might have actually inspired them to vote. I can't see how that's a bad thing, even if it might seem condescending.

  • Well, actors and Islamic fundamentalists have one thing in common.

They both confuse memorizing lines with intellect.

  • You are such an idiot...

  • Why are we shaming anyone for telling young people (a group infamous for saying they'll vote and then not bothering) to vote? If anyone made a video about that I would applaud them. It's wasn't condescending. How was it slanted towards Obama? Because they mentioned the war, womens' rights, and gay rights? They didn't tell you how to feel about those issues, did they? No. Stop being contradictory just for contradiction's sake.

  • Nice-great vid-much better than anything hollywood could throw out! Then again everything Ive seen out of Hollywood lately is pure garbage. Lmao-Voted cuz you told me to voted McCain Palin cuz I wanted to!

  • I always wait until Hollywood tells me who to vote for! Wait a minute...don't they always tell me to vote for Democrats? How could such deep thinkers ALWAYS come up with the same recommendation? Could they be a group thinking, head nodding herd? Maybe they are more beautiful than they are smart?Maybe they don't have a choice if they want work? Could be.

  • Great Job! Hollywood a-holes should just shut up and act. We don't want or care about their airhead opinions.

  • Great video. Much better then those lame Hollywood ones.

  • brilliant!

I hope those "smart beautiful people of hollywood" see it.

maybe then they'll know that the only people who take them seriously are themselves.

  • Well done.

  • Thank you missing the fucking point, potty-mouth.

  • You're welcome.

  • Hey dumbass... you do realize they are pushing every single Obama agenda riiiiight? Do you even follow politics?

  • Yeah, so what! The PSA was aimed at getting people to vote, period! Watch it again dickhead and tell me where they are forcing THEIR opinion down YOUR throat. Yeah, the MSM is biased and so is CNN and MSNBC. But so is 99% of talk radio and 100% of Fox News. Is it balanced? No, but so what! Unlike you, I think people can make up their own minds regardless of who Tom Cruise votes for. If it bothers you that Hollywood hates Republicans, I don't give a shit. Go cry to your fucking mommy.

  • Lol you're mad wooo. It's really easy to get when I prove you wrong. And I never said anything about the media but you're correct; conservatives get talk radio and Foxnews, that's what? 95% of the media. Back to the basement, oh dweller of said place. And wait in hope that your man gets in to office so you can get your welfare check. Go back and check your facts before you hurt yourself.

  • You didn't prove shit you nutsucker. Face it, you're pissed and jealous that Obama is going to hand the Repugnicans their collective asses on Tuesday and the media and the rest of the world will dance in the streets. So, you and Joe the unlicensed plumber can bitch and moan for the next 4 years...too bad...so sad. Now, why don't you take those typing hands of yours and go finger-fuck your mother.

  • RAGE! Go get some help seriously dude. Well maybe when ol' Barry gets into office he'll provide that for you. And all you can come up with insults that my 14 year old cousin can think up? That's awesome. Go be more original somewhere else.

And some part of me hopes Barrack Hussein Obama gets in so I can laugh in your face when his socialist agenda destroys our nation.

Joe the Plumber may not be licensed but at least he doesn't live in a basement.

  • And I'm done owning your ass because it's starting to be less fun since you're fairly stupid. Bye.

  • Wow. This is fantastic! Thanks!

  • You guys are great! That was really funny X-D

  • This made my day.

  • Excellent! Much better than the shitty celebrity version.

  • Ok, I have a huge crush on that girl at 1:02 now.

  • Awesome video. I hate Hollywood trying to tell me how to live my life, and then trying to make me feel bad if I don't do what they say. Good job!

  • Classic

  • Good idea, execution could've been better and it could've been a little shorter.

  • Fantastic job!!!

  • OMG, that was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Great job!

  • Great work guys.

    And thank YOU, Hollywood.

  • Absolutely fabulous. Sarcasm works in both directions - who knew? Keep up the good work guys. You rock.

  • hahahah, that was awesome

  • Great video. The girls in this video are amazing too!

  • thank you! i'm sick of actors thinking they know better than me!

  • Brilliant. I am so tired of these useless pieces of shite trying to tell us what to do. I declare Hollywood irrelevant!

  • LOL! Yes, what would we do without the "pretty people" telling us how to live our lives?

    Great video response!

  • NDHatch, you are a dumb ass.

  • Jackassdog, you are a dumb ass.

  • Great video, thanks! Hilarious. I love all of you.

  • Scabeh, you are a dumb ass.

  • nice white sheet.

  • Don't vote. Screw it. Stay home, you vote doesn't matter because it's not being counted ANYWAY. In fact, I encourage everyone TO register and then NOT vote on purpose, just so you can say you did participate, but then you're counted as someone who doesn't care to support either side of the corrupt government coin (McCain/Obama). You see, it's not that America doesn't care, it's that America KNOWS it's a lose-lose situation in the first place having either of these morons in office.

  • waterfew, you obviously don't get it. their video was serious yet entirely condescending. this video is clearly a parody and meant to demonstrate that no one needs a bunch of douchy celebrities telling them what to do.

  • SMAAAAAAAAAART ?

  • Ahh thank you for making this. I cannot stand condescending celebrity political awareness crap. You get to be pretty, famous, and stupid. We get to be ugly, unimportant and smart. That's the unspoken deal between us, Hollywood.

  • those hollywoodians and their great words of wisdom get me every time. I better vote for a guy who is pro abortion, pro gay rights, pro environment, and has some great money fixing plan unlike whoever it was that was in charge before.... I wonder if they had some kind of underlying agenda for a specific candidate lol

  • I so like sarcasm... yeah... totally right? Who played the Sarah Silverman character in your video? Man I do not understand her... at all. Great job in showing how stupid hollywood people are. Except they're hot.

  • wow... i know 3 people in this video and i bet they don't know that i know the others...LOL small world! great vid guys! i especially liked maz's jump at the end!! that's so typical!! totally voting now!! McCain Palin OH EIGHT!!

  • lol nice :)

  • I LOVE YOU!

  • Maybe it was the condescending attitude...

  • if you think your life sucks so much that actors make you feel uncertain, well yes, I can see how they must seem so condescending to you.

  • haha, i concur, these people are threatened and evil more bias than the liberal the claim to hate. morons.

  • I don't get what was wrong with the "Don't Vote Video"...Wasn't it targeted to new and first time voters
