Uh....I think Ueo won D1 USA vs. Japan, and He's actually WON the entire D1 championship, so Yoshioka wasn't the first one. He's an amazing driver. Not takin' anything from Yoshioka, it's just that when I think of Japan, and an AE86, I think of Ueo. Tsuchiya is obviously an amazing driver also, but he ain't ever ran in D1 lol.

Mmm, I'm prepared for the flame storm, but I'm gonna say that Tsuchiya's on the bottom of the drift pole with that battle, but of course on top of it in the grip sector. Yoshioka and Ueo dabble in grip, but can't compete with years of GT racing. And on the opposite end, Tsuchiya's is more grip oriented than the extreme fashion of D1, Formula D, and the like.. While he is the Drift King, eternally, he's just not as good a drifter as he is a grip racer.

All i said was that I personally would love to see a battle between those 3 , regardless of who's better on D1,Formula D, grip or drift. I love Toyotas and i would like to see them driving the hell out of those AE86. I see your point and is interesting the info you shared but i really didnt care whos better than who. No no, I agree with you, I'd love to see the battle as well, but ehh.... I'm not gonna be surprised if Tsuchiya got spanked. But I think the best point of the battle would be to see which of the three would be the most versatile of the three. I'd like to say Yoshioka would be.

All that being said, this is a bit unorthodox, I wanna thank you for responding in the manner that you did. I get a lot of responses in the opposite side of the spectrum, and it's cool to get one like this for once.
