hey i kept getting stuck when booting from USB. I saw a bunch of text go across my screen, then it said ubuntu, then more text go flying by and then it stopped and the last thing it said was "could not mount..... " Please help, I think i'm really close.

kid you are good :) good for your age, learning how to use a linux distro? hates off to you, next time use a better program to record like Camtasia or FRAPS, check my video for tips, but very good, soon you'll get very good where you can use Vmware workstation to show how to boot into stuff, keep it up, message me if you need ideas/help :) and i'll do likewise

It depends on the computer's specs, the flash drive, and the version of Linux. Ubuntu takes about 45 seconds to boot on my new computer from a flash drive.

Did you connect to your WiFi network? If you can't, Ubuntu may not have the proper drivers.

You can do this with any version of Linux that is on the program, or any version of Linux that you have an ISO of.
