i have a 96 cobra with flow masters exhaust with the 4 10 rear end and i would shit on a vtec turbo any day.....its all about 2nd and 3rd gear cause 4th they are eating the fumes

@ohioguy440 easy there big guy..I'm obv a Mustang fan here but when you start talking vtec with turbos you can get smoked pretty quick. you have to think about power to weigh and the amount of boost this thing is making..cobras are nice but gears and exhaust got you 5hp so your now making 310hp to the crank proably 280 to the wheels and you're cobra is fat an dheavy.

when you got 400-500whp to the front wheels on slicks, there is no chance.. sorry. your gonna need a kennebell with beefed up internals..

I have the O/R X-pipe with Flowmasters on my '98 GT and it sounds pretty much identical to yours. I wonder what the true difference is between the H and X pipes.

The cobra bumpers from the factory come with the lettering molded into them. It is actually recessed into the bumper and painted over. A lot of guys will buy vinyl cutouts or metal lettering that adheres inside the lettering. You can get it in black, white, chrome, black chrome, red, yellow, etc. Same with the V6, GT, and Mach bumpers as well. Hope that helps ya bro.

i'm afraid i gotta disagree with you. X-piper (catted) offer more hp and also offer a really deep growl, h-pipes are more raspy, the only good h pipe is the pro chamber pipe.

The raspy sound I'm assuming your talking about comes from the cats and the pipes. Put an X-pipe on your car and it will sound raspy and farty. I like a deep throaty growl like a proper muscle car. If I want a raw sound I would probably install header cutouts. I have a BBK offroad H-pipe on my setup, H-pipes have the best sound by far.
