I just saw their documentary and let me tell you that it was so inspiring and brave of them. plus they make some great music. Let this be a lesson to all that metal can be created be anyone and that metal will forever live on.
These guys have some serious fucking balls. They stood up against their government and made the music they wanted to play, basically giving the middle finger to oppression everywhere. They aren't just Metal heroes, they're heroes regarding freedom and human right, and everything good about humanity.

I don't think you're getting the concept. Sure, Black Sabbath went through some real rough times. All bands do. Read Mötley Crüe's book. Read Dave Mustaine's book. Hell, every band goes through hard shit at some point. The difference with Acrassicauda though, is that they weren't just too poor to buy booze. They are rebelling against an entire culture, pursuing their dreams in the very midst of a warzone. They're basically asking for death just to play music.

Ive seen the documentary about these guys. Fuck all of the bands who think they are the most hardcore band of all time when they practice in their mom's basement. Acrassicauda's practice space got blown up by a mortar or an rpg or something or other, so yeah, they are the most metal band EVER

@pandabiscuts123 hey read up on ozzy and black sabbath buddy. they rank right up there next to and before these guys. the bassist from black sabbath geezer butler, and how those guys grew up in england in an era after WWII. im not trying to take away from acrassicauda, because ive been to iraq and am a Vet. just saying dont give them credit for being the hardest ever when they wouldnt exist with out the creation of black sabbath.

I don't think you're getting the concept. Sure, Black Sabbath went through some real rough times. All bands do. Read Mötley Crüe's book. Read Dave Mustaine's book. Hell, every band goes through hard shit at some point. The difference with Acrassicauda though, is that they weren't just too poor to buy booze. They are rebelling against an entire culture, pursuing their dreams in the very midst of a warzone. They're basically asking for death just to play music.
