I think it would help your tone if you opened your throat more to get a rounder tone, right now its a little edgy for this genre. See if you can kick your voice down an octave as well. Those high notes are out of your comfort range which forces you to sing falsetto which isn't something you want to aim toward. I like the interpretation of the song though!

This is the best cover of this song done by any male and even a female.

The thing that really sets it apart from all the other covers on here is that you can hear and feel the emotion you put into it, you totally put your own twist in it, you have a very diverse and high range in your vocals, and it's done really effortlessly.
