Interesting right hand fingering...all the free sixteenths are played thumb/index instead of index/middle...a technique I have used for many years,Nice to hear it utilized with such competence...The video is a masterpiece in miniature...altogether world class.

I;m having trouble playing the fast alternate picking on the high e string..I can play it fast but I find it gets sloppy if i try to play too fast, anyone know any ways i can reduce sloppiness?

Play slow until u can play it in your sleep. Then when you are comfortable with it when youre playing slow,make it faster...Or go to a crossroads and summon the Devil,and he will give you mad skills :p

@iamxnex yea dude, you gotta practice slowly and consistently. It's a pain and it is hard to do, but if you get through with that at a slow tempo and increase it your hands will be relaxed and you'll be able to play it up to a faster tempo. Remember that speed isn't all that matters in guitar, its a consequence of correct practicing. I have trouble playing slow myself, but it definitely makes a difference in your gestures and in the relaxation of your body while performing. Good luck!

I would use p for accented notes. But you can still have dynamics in p and i, too. If carefully executed.
