Well,as a Chinese guy, I've to say that,if you just have those real apple stores to sell the products ,that'll be possible , image how many people there in this country, so ,some times you really need lots of small retailers to do the job,as well as they don't sell fake ones(which they do some times) . Well by all means , this is one of things which are specials in this country, it's not that bad, so ,hope you guys be nice , and welcome to china :)

Back when the iPhone 4S released Apple announced that they currently only have 2 Apple stores in China, one in Hong Kong and the other in Shanghai, and they're both really nice these are obviously fakes.

@jshaw6600 you can purchase an iPhone 5 from here. Yes, you heard - not 4 or 4s - but 5 :D. That said, they were selling a lot of genuine stuff (Macs, ipods, touch, iphones) and quite a few well known 3rd party accessories (Speck etc).

I lived in China for 9 years and I have to say there are too many fake products out there... The fake products marketplace has Prada bags for 30 dollars but I believe they only cost about 5 dollars to make. There are still real Apple Stores over there and they are definitely impressive.
