@wilbrit09 Consider it honest mistake. They should have reviewed it before saying "okay, good!" Nevertheless, my son enjoyed it. So no fail on that. These shows were originally done for kids both then and those today. But nobody said us parents and grown-ups could not enjoy Sesame Street. THUMBS UP IF YOU ALL AGREE! Peace out!
Frazzle used to scare me as a kid b/c he couldn't talk and all that and he kind of looked like Chewie from "Star Wars." who also scared me as a kid b/c all he did was growl and moan. Sorry, just had to put my two cents in.
yay, I love Frazzle. if you do, too and are also those who watched SS in the good old school days please give a thumbs to him and Chris Cerf who sang lead a la Little Chrissy.
@MrJimmer93 What in the world is all this relevant to?! "Keep pressing 3", "Keep pressing 5", "Keep pressing 6", "Keep pressing 9", etc... I do, and nothing happens, what is all this keep pressing random number key stuff?
@GroverKent Its actually this weird feature here on YouTube. If you push a certain number it will automatically go to a certain part of the video ('1' for 1/10 of the way into the video, '5' for halfway through the video, etc.), and if you keep pushing a random number it will keep saying the same thing over and over, just like a broken record.
I loved Frazzle as a child. He was taken off Sesame Street because he supposedly scared children--he never scared me. He's rather adorable and sweet in my opinion. Also--this song is awesome.
@glowworm2 Where'd you hear that? They've never said that in any of the official books, articles, etc. Part of his disappearing is that he's a Jerry Nelson character (like the Count, Mumford, and Biff), and Mr. Nelson's 77 this year, so his appearances on the show are limited. They save his set time for characters that plots can be based around.
@NicholasMoreau You're right, and I do apologize for assuming so. I just thought that maybe that was the reason he disappeared since a lot of people claimed to have been frightened of him when they were little.
@glowworm2 Isn't this supposed to be the whole point of the song? He looks scary but he's a really nice guy despite. Stupid soccer moms, they can't even take the time to listen to the song.
This is the original version. Later airings of the song featured new graphics, with "rip lines" appearing around the circles to make it appear as the monsters are bursting through the background.
Also, note that Jerry Nelson plays one of the Frazzletones and Frazzle himself, in the same song. This, among others, proves that Jerry truly is a Man Of A Thousand Voices. (Well, one of them, anyway.)
@bagsmohess I bear no ill-will towards Elmo, but one thing is for sure: Classic Sesame Street is THE best! Elmo's little shenanigans hardly match brilliance like this.
Scary looking monsters
