Lindsay Lohan needs to listen to this---not that she has role model parents (she doesn't especially her dad) but she is headed for an early death if she doesn't wise up.
I used to watch Art Linkletter on the big black and white television set in my Grandmother's living room when I was a little girl...those WERE the good old days, and this makes me remember just how much I miss my Grandmother Williams. RIP Mr. Linkletter and my beloved Grandmother Williams.
Diane died just months after she and her Dad had collaborated to record this. He and his familiar voice were as much a part of our household as we were. Be happy in heaven with your family Art. God be with you.

I wonder what discussion I'd have with my kids if I played something old-school like this for them.....

Art Linkletter always straightened out the hippies with love and a firm father's hand.

This is actually the B side, "Dear Mom and Dad". WLY,CC was Art solo, the complete letter that he reads on part on "Dear Mom and Dad".

I was moved when hearing this back in 1969, especially since I loved watching Art Linkletter on TV when growing up. It is still quite moving.
R.I.P. Art. Hope you're reunited with Diane up in Heaven. And kids, don't be afraid to talk with your parents if something's bothering you.

He was a good man, and right now he's with the Lord and His angels. Not to mention the 3 Linkletter children who have gone before him.
