  • AUS8-A is not that bad, i have the Seal team elite and the pup elite and they are both awsome.

  • yeah but do they really faligh zippers?

  • def not the best blades out there but they do make a decent blade. there concepts are kinda good too. but they need to start using some new and differant steels other than aus8. thats a decent steel but def not at the top or anywhere near it. they use it on 90% of there knives. and there not cheap.

  • @cougarridgeknifeco Premium steels mean premium prices. I doubt that SOG would sell truckloads of S30V Gov-Tacs, for example. Few people would need that type of performance. For those that do, there are plenty of other brands that would suffice.

  • @whitethronebooks well first off SOG knives are not cheap. second s30v does add cost but not that much when were talkin knives that are already expensive. i mean if somone wants to put out high dollar for top notch knife then give em option of top notch steal.

  • @whitethronebooks The video, and title SOG, heavily implies that these knives should be made of premium materials.

  • agree with you, SOG makes a great product. Just picked up a Gov Tac bead blasted finish. Was VERY impressed with the quality, and blade thickness, and obvious tip strength. Great Review !!
