A fine rendition by a fine singer. I heard and saw Diaz's Scarpia in Milwaukee about 30 years ago, and he was superb. A friend in the supporting cast told me Diaz was a warm, friendly guy -- also that he routinely vocalized between a solid, resonant low D and free, ringing high A without apparent effort. What a range:) --
