Skyrim "Smoke glitch"

I HAVE A SIMILIAR PROBLEM ONLY THAT ITS AROUND MY FEET AND SLIGHTLY REACHES MY UPPER BODY, AND WHEN I STAY STILL IT LOOKS LIKE A CLOUD FORMS AROUND ME THAT HAS A GHOST LIKE APPEARANCE CAN ANY1 HELP!?!?

I have a similar problem but it's not as severe. My player just emits a smoke trail beginning from his feet. Any idea how to fix it?

This bug ruined the main quest line. Seems that this just always happens in Blackreach, which sucks because its possibly the most spectacular places in Skyrim. Pisses me off even more that Bethesda decided that this bug doesn't merit correction in the next update.

this just worked for me: player.addspell 00030fbe and then player.removespell 00030fbe

I got this glitch in Blackreach, ":::::::::::::::::::::::::::SP­OILER:::::::::::::::::::::::::­::::::::" after doing the quest to collect 30 crimson nirnroot. The place is just so gigantic, I really don't want to defeat all the enemies and loot the place again, or gather 30 of those nirnroots.

There is one more option : Dwarven sphere effect - I had both dwarven spider and sphere effect.

Dwarven sphere code is : 0004BB4D.

@rizmover Guess you can disable the effect somehow using that code

@rizmover　I managed to get rid of that smoky feet glitch thanks to you.

I used

player.addspell 0004BB4D

player.removespell 0004BB4D

and it deleted that annoying effect.

Seems ID will vary depending on what effect your character have.

Mine is Flame Atronach abilities (AbDwarvenSphereFX).

Supposedly the commands listed here uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim_talk:Glit­ches#Smoke_Glitch (5th paragraph) should solve this, but I have yet to test it myself.

ya this glitch is a pain, it has somthing to do with the dwarven centurians, most likley when you put the levers to activate them, it enables the steam to blow out of them which conects with you, so you end up blowing steam too. so just avoid the centurians. i had to load 3 hours back cuz it pissed me off so much!!!

@Mik3atron you are right,happened to me when I was inside a dwarven dungeon,its like the smoke texture ,the centurions have just stuck on you.At first I didnt mind because I thoug that I could find something in internet to fix it,so I continued playing overwriting all my savegames,then I realized I was wrong,thanks the bug gone at some point of the game....

@ultran33b I could play on third person using console commands,till somehow fixed itself when-spoiler- I fought Alduin first time,you should try since you cannot use console commands.

@MrGeminiAc Temporary fix=Turn into werewolf.

As soon as you go into first-person it comes back.
