Dude, "kimuchi" is the way how Japanese people read as well as Korean read the word "zairyou, zembu, and zettai" as zjairyo, zjembu, zjettai". It has nothing to do with renaming things from your country. The same way americans say "toyoda" instead of right pronunciation that is "Toyota". Therefore, there is nothing wrong Japanese people say Kimuchi instead of Kimchi. Actually for me it is easier to say Kimuchi than Kimchi.

Here in Japan you can find Kimchi in many places written in Katakana words キムチ and from this reading I assume that it is a foreigner word and not Japanese one. Many words that was originated in other nations are written in katakana words such as samba＝サンバseat belt＝シートベルト and Hangul ハングル. Actually, I dont know anybody here who consider Kimchi as Japanese one.

Dude, "kimuchi" is the way how Japanese people read as well as Korean read the word "zairyou, zembu, and zettai" as zjairyo, zjembu, zjettai". It has nothing to do with renaming things from your country. The same way americans say "toyoda" instead of right pronunciation that is "Toyota". Therefore, there is nothing wrong Japanese people say Kimuchi instead of Kimchi. Actually for me it is easier to say Kimuchi than Kimchi.

Here in Japan you can find Kimchi in many places written in Katakana words キムチ and from this reading I assume that it is a foreigner word and not Japanese one. Many words that was originated in other nations are written in katakana words such as samba＝サンバseat belt＝シートベルト and Hangul ハングル. Actually, I dont know anybody here who consider Kimchi as Japanese one.

Well, I have to tell you Fukuzawa, Ito, Honda
weren't racist at all.
They basically respect people and other countrie's culture
especially for Fukuzawa, as many Japanese do.
But they couldn't do that only for Korean.
We basically love any culture. It's fun to know and learn.
