I've been skating sense the age of 7 I love this sport!! I stay in Columbia South Carolina..it sucks..I believe I have the talent but never had the opportunity..I've been seaching for a professional team to try out for or jus something!!!!

for me Speed Skating and Rink-Hockey should be the next sports in the olympics...Rink-hockey was the first roller sport to become olympic,,,love the vid but FIRS should put make a proposal for rink-hockey to

@spdskte: 'indoor' in the 100m flat track format is not an international course in speed skating and was not put forward for inclusion. Track (banked 200m) and Road (asymmetric 400-600m) are the recognized international courses, and the bid focused on Track skating.

definatly doable id say... from a public view point... as well as that have tour de france type events for speed skating.... etc... the suspence,the speed,the adrenaline..

I wish you luck...but as a former artistic roller skater...we thought the same thing about our sport in the 80s. We made it as far as an exhibition event in 1988 I think.
Do your part. Lobby, get the word out, get people into the sport.
Artistic roller skating is nothing like it was when i skated in the 80s.
Your passion is what people will be drawn to. Show others that aren't into the sport.
