@SweetPunk20 I recommend updating simply because iTunes has a tendency to get badly behaved if it doesn't get updated. However, the surest way to make sure you don't lose apps is to perform the Transfer purchases, check your library to make sure the apps are there and to make sure they're all checkmarked in the apps list before hitting "apply." Hope that helps :)

First, I add my downloaded application to the "Apps" on itunes. Not "Apps" in my itouch. Then I plug in my itouch and I sync my new apps and the itunes say the it will delete my existing applications but I clicked okay.
