Wait I just wanna say. In the beginning Dimitri tries to reach for the bolt action rifle on the floor a few feet away. when u actual start playing you have the rifle, which reznov picked up for you, and a tokerav pistol. which means dimitri on the ground already had the pistol. so wouldnt it have been easier to take out his semi auto pistol instead of reaching a few feet for a bolt action rifle to take out 3 guys?

The entire game on veteran diff is PURE CHEAP BULLSHIT, a challenging difficulty in any game is welcome. When you have to restart a single sequence 50-100 times because of one-shotting "eye of God" snipers, unlimited enemy grenades and limitless respawning, there's a frucking problem somewhere.

Good thing I only borrowed it from a friend.

@amazingdany yeah i find this game impossible to beat on veteran. the limitless respawn+grenade spam sequences do not allow you to push forward. either you waste 2 hours on ONE part of a mission fighting for every inch of land or you die countless times. i only managed to complete the first 2 missions. the quickscope god sniper in stalingrad made me throw the game through my room. :) you have like 5ms of reaction time before he blows your head of. its ridiculious.

@amazingdany Agreed. Rock hard levels are great when one has trained up through the previous Normal and Hard levels, but the Veteran level here is ridiculous. It's obviously not impossible but it's pretty damn close. My main gripe is the constant restarts. There are many checkpoints but how fucking frustrating is it to fight through a really tough section MANY times and get wasted by some superhuman crack shot or one of those damned grenades!? Oh, and this video is not Veteran!

@berserker276 no. it's bad. Friendly A.I.'s push you out of cover (on lower difficulties I wouldn't care, but on higher you too would get annoyed). Also friendly A.I.'s get in the way of where you're going and sometimes you get stuck. There are glitches where I got stuck and had to rely on getting killed or killing myself. Sometimes when you fire your gun, the shots don't register. The gameplay mechanics are very poor, and it seems Treyarch spent no time polishing the game.

You can be shooting a German with a clear headshot, but it will seemingly bounce off his head and he won't die. Also you can get shot through the walls and perfect cover in that game. This game is a lot better made.

This is so obviously on recruit. At 2:23 - 2:27 he gets shot about 5 times with no actual damage. Anyone who thinks this is on veteran is blind. When I played this level on veteran I couldn't stand at that bit next to the MG and just pick them off because every 2 seconds there is a grenade thrown at you, sometimes 2, and they will shoot the hell out of u after u have even killed one guy.

On veteran you die after 1-4 shots, usually two.

Nice playthrough but you don't have this set on veteran, only 2 grenades are ever thrown at you when above the MG nest. Plus on veteran ther is no way you can just stand up the and shoot them at will like that!
