  • Thankyou for starting off slower! My teacher goes too fast on this move that I can't pinpoint exactly what she's doing when we move sideways. Not that she's a terrible teacher but when you gotta class of 15 people and you're trying to keep up, I am one those dancers that has to work at it, doesn't come natural. Agrees w ith Jianow though on the gut and spine though- spine is flexible and the abdomen tight muscle control. Actually keeps your arms in shape too- when doing the arm movements

  • bellydancing for women is great as it eases period pain and pregnancy cramps. it also keeps ur abdomen muscles and spine in healthy tip top condition.

  • haha do NOT do this on carpet!
