Haflingers are my fav breed and i wanted a haflinger for 6 years and i got a haflinger mare for my birthday in july xxx Gr8 vid :)

@urbancyclist1 There mane was bred so it would cover both sides of teh neck 4 warmth in the mtns but thats not the way they want them bred any more

How interesting, I didn't know that. I think it makes sense that the mane covers both sides, it is not fair on the horse in the mountains.

@TickleMeElmo1995 My haflinger has manes on both sides. Those are a lot more popular here than only having manes on one side.
