i have around 100 budgies. i don't feed Dandelion but i find even the tiniest bit of parsley or carrot or corn or pinecone or celary or spinich or beatroot has the same effect :P or soft food mix also

To anyone considering doing this, be very carefull where you pick the dandelion leaves, since many times areas have been sprayed with systemic herbacides. Just because they haven't sprayed recently doesn't mean the plant doesn't still have the pesticide present, specially the systemic type. It can seriously harm or kill your budgie

please be careful, public places like parks often use lawn services that spray chemicals on the weeds.

ive never seen that befor my budgie is vey picky but thats cute mine will only eat brocilie and lettuce still a bit picky with the fruit thou so i just mix vitamins in his water he si very healthy today always playing with his toys and singing its a wonderful sight :)
