Its amazing to me that a person can create a mod like this and it seems to generate so seamlessly into the landscape. Then notch and his team give it a whirl and it looks like the buildings and roads were built by six year olds and they arent even generated into the landscape... more like thrown on top. Nice work Formivore. :)

Sometimes the cities are inhabitted by pig men so it gives the feels of other citizens (some how...) which is good.

@formivore I LOVE your mod, but after 10 + tries, i have only found ruined sandstone + mossy cobble cities, and they are only small. how can i make it so that alot of cities are generated and i get a cobble and underground one? i realise there is a .txt file for this but it has not changed anything help!

There's a lot of documentation available for this, check out the F.A.Q. You can do these things by editing the template files.

In 1.8 we'll get NPC villages in vanilla. So is it safe to assume that we'll get NPC cities in the 1.8 version? Maybe some Endermen cities (wink, wink)

I like the Cobblestone cities, feels like a medieval town.

Also, all of the cities remind me of Assassin's Creed :D

If you ever do make NPCs available, I think the player should be able to turn them on or off, if they ever want the deserted world feel, or a city to call their own :)

My first city that spawned in my new world was the ruined sandstone city. It had a stone pathway behind it to a little water pool, and from there I build a path to an area under a nearby overpass with a waterfall. I built my home there in view of the ruined city. It makes me feel like I was some sort of survivor of a massive war~ Thank you greatly for creating this mod, it is wonderful!
