i have two burmese cats and they fight like this all the time but abit more violant and now they get so adjatated with each other they make it into a regular thing, they are hissing spitting and growling at each other, it has got worse over the years x

Beautiful brown Burmese - that behaviour is so typical. We breed (European) Burmese in the UK.

I have 2 Burmese... 12 and 14 yrs old who still play fight like this. I've never had an injury from it on either of them... no open wounds, no abcesses... just sibling rivalry!

I have 3 Burmese and they all play fight like this...if it looks like it's getting too rough...I split them up.

this is play fighting - i have a red and a brown burmese - both boys and this type of fisty cuffs is good fun for them - no blood!

Our red and brown Burmese 'boys' often scuffle like this,too, usually followed by a mad chase around the house! And no, neither of them has ever been injured by the other - just play fighting, even if it looks 'serious' at times.

My burmese cats fight exactly like this pretty much every day, it's harmless and amusing to watch :P.
