@socrati007 since Sarah keeps repeating the same thought in her head over and over, she experiences these thoughts in two ways - Heaven and Hell - these are represented by the colours of the crayons she uses - in the beginning she asks for the red crayon, representing Hell, meaning she will experience her thought in this way, and at the end she asks for the blue crayon, representing Heaven. At least I think that's how it goes. Complicated, I know, but I hope it helped a little bit at least ;)
