I don't this is something that should be done in this scenario-- the war impacted men more than women. Men won the war, not women. It was mostly men who lost their lives. Their larger role in the war should be respected, not mocked. This isn't the time nor the place for feminist pettiness.

I feel that if we are to use this dichotomy, rather than something neutral, say 'people', at least let it -- what is given precedence -- be in relation to more:less ratio.
