I still wonder why the hell they didn't make an aluminium block instead of that heavy cast iron block,,,I'm mean,,common,,it supose to be a special limited edition,,for fuck sake,....if it was an aluminium block this car would be atleast 400 lbs lighter

The 2010 GT500 does have an aluminum 5.4L. Problem solved.

@djaiseman the iron block was made for people who wanted to go higher, the block was built to handle up to 1200hp, yeah sure it was really heavy and really didnt make use of the 540hp 510tq but it was a beast none the less, the 2011 GT500 has a 550hp 510tq ALUMINUM 5.4 supercharged haha, thats a new monster

No kidding... A 700 hp 7 liter engine in a 3162 lb car can beat a 540 hp 5.4 liter engine in a 3900 lb car... An absolutely firm grasp on the obvious.
