I do not like Jean's hair color at all in this version of the X-Men series. It does NOT look bright red AT ALL!! Is it even red? Her hair color SHOULD BE just like the Jean in "X-Men: Evolution" it suits her better!!

@soplox5 Dark Phoenix only existed in the 1990s animated series. All the others including the movies refer to The Phoenix as bad from the get go. I prefer having both exist because then you can see Phoenix power and as she grows more powerful you get to see her become darker and darker. Even Dark Phoenix I don't think was entirely evil just highly vindictive and volatile.

This is really more of a knock on the series than the video itself, but this is by far the least romantic version of Scott & Jean's relationship in just about any medium you can name. Scott was reduced to a worthless loser, and Jean wasn't really a character, she was just a plot device, so you didn't get the sense that he had really lost anything important. If anything the impression one got was that he was henpecked to a woman who didn't care about him.

in the original cartoon series they kept rubbing Scott's relationship with Jean in Logan's face. I think it's time for Wolverine to get a revenge. Let Scott be jealous for a change!

@KyodaiKen1979 But here they vilified Scott to an irrational extreme just to satisfy their own petulant fantasies and Wolverine's self-serving fans. That is just plain wrong.

Honestly, I'm glad it's been discontinued. Watching Scott get dragged through the mud again, reduced to being the Frank Burns to Wolverine's Hawkeye Pierce, would have been a waste of time.

I haven't had a chance to watch this show yet, the name threw me off, but these online vids make me think it could be on par with the 90's Uncanny X-men cartoon at least. After all I thought Evolution would be crap, what with the whole teen heroes bit, but it was better than I thought.

Question though: Has Apocalypse appeared on this show? I've seen clips of Arch-Angel but nothing of Apocalypse
