the drum beat's the wrong way? the singer sounds like he should be rapping? maybe it's just their version. It's music, it's open for interpretation by anyone no matter how good or bad.
Pardon me, Count Douchebag, but I believe that is called a COVER.
Ha, thanks for all the comments on the many videos, and the subscription. I am on facebook, but I actually gave it up for Lent. Just look up Braden Piper. Let me know if you have any requests.
We have. The songs, "Lay Down the Funk" and "Lucky Duck Pond" are both original songs. Just click on my profile name and click "see all videos" and you'll find them.
Very good all around. A little improvement is needed on part of the bassist, little more staccato on some parts, as others have said. I've changed my mind about the singer though... He should try not to sound like he's bored while he sings, at the least. The singer could do a lot of improvement in terms of style, perhaps by studying on inflection, his (plain) accent, you know... all of the dimensions of a voice besides the pitch itself.
well, the best cover I've seen on youtube. Love the singer. The bass could have a little more improvement, sounds too smooth, this song is very staccato, and its sound is stronger (it gotta almost like slap, although I think it's not - actually I found this cover in search of a live by RHCP to check it)
Its one of my favourite chili songs, the first of theirs I learnt to play.I tried to add my own style to give it away, ended up sounding like Navarro playing it live?!
the guitar solo wasnt even close, good otherwise

You sound great, but the playing is poor. Not quite right with the original song.

I'm glad you liked it. We're trying to develop our funkiness, and a sort of reggae feel to form a unique sound for our originals.
