Good job on the guitar man. Just a couple of things I have noticed that you may want to change if you do make another one... The original has an 8 hole scratch plate, not the more modern 11 hole style, and the original was a Fernandes strat copy. Sorry to be so picky. You did a great job with all the stickers and stuff. What model Bill Lawrence did you use? I have just ordered a replica and will be changing the pickup to a Bill Lawrence but haven't been able to get info on the model BJ used.

@bassman1154 Total was honestly like $30. It's like sky blue or daphne blue. I printed the stickers onto sticker paper (adhesive on one side) and stuck the to the strat. Took me like 2 weeks.

@MrAuzden actually it's hard to say because if you have a daphne blue its kinda surf green but if u take a picture of it, it will probably look like sonic blue (i have daphne blue) but sometimes the guitar is really sonic blue so its hard to tell but if u look at the pictures of billie joe when he was 10 with "blue" he has sonic blue but with such old pictures the saturation is waay too high so i Think its the kinda surf green and now the guitar is 30 so i don't know-.-

I know, there are a lot of guys who say that the bullets sucks. Well, my first strat ever was a arctic white bullet. I bought the fender deluxe chasing a quality strat. But I still love my bullet. Jack white, a bad ass guitarrist, possibly the best of the decade plays an airline plastic guitar. So íf you are starting, go for the bullet. The prize.... you can ask less money. It´s incredibly cheap. Later on, go for the fender real deal. But i still love my bullet.

Well, i like green day and y main strat is a deluxe daphne blue with maple fretboard, so it´s identical. In fact I choose it because of eric clapton strat (The one he uses in this days) Not for billie. If you are a guitar player or you want to become one you will need a strat sooner or later. It´s the most versatile axe in the world, Period. And I love other fenders, gibsons, etc.. but the strat it´s magical. If you want a replica buy a squier bullet strat

@skakky Probably a SD JB or SH-1 now. Doesn't matter what pickup you put in that thing, if your playing through a shitty solid state practice amp don't expect to even get remotely close to his tone. lol

Oh yea and he never used a proper strap...it was a red seatbelt he duct taped to his guitar.

I've look at atleast hundreds of pictures of blue dating back from 1989-1995 and he did have an actually strap on his guitar. Seatbelt material has NEVER been like that of a strap and it has a different visible grainy texture which appears in every photo of Blue ever taken. The reason the duct tape is on the strap is because Billie dropped Blue on stage once and cracked it (seen on lower cutaway w duct tape).
