@ my previous comment..actualy i think id heard the tune on a pirate before hand..like ya did bk then..but it was awesome to hear it for the first time on a big rig in a venue..also..it may have been labyrnth/double dipped at bagleys lol..not sure...still..the details are a lill fuzzy now haha but what matters is still there..the vibe..the people..the music..never repeated..and sadley as were all a bunch of scum buckets to the goverment, rareley documented...HAIL YOUTUBE :))))
remember going to double dipped at bagleys film studio and first hearing this...walking thru kings cross to the venue thru cobbled paved streets and into the site where it was held to be greeted with thousands of smiling HARDCORE RAVERS...i had a pocket full of white doves and i can honestley say WE touched heaven...90's crew u know who U are...say no more :)))
Fantastic Hard Oldskool tune! I loved it when it first came out and used to go crazy in the rave clubs when anything like this came on. Come to think of it , I still do, well when the wife and kids aren't at home!! lol
I think it's funny that people are so intent to "shuffle" when they don't even know where The SHUFFLE came from. I agree with leeroy65. D&B is here to stay!!!!
look look its poontang, poontang , rub it in your eyeball, look look its poontang ... im susan mc vol , ,,, are they the lyrics?? my friend nigel said they were on tuesday of last week
This was one of their last tracks in which they had that 'hardcore' sound and just before it became drum & bass...At least that's how my aging eyes saw it. :-)
I have found no better song to blast while just letting go and flying through the twisties...high speed, tight turns, and this song, one of the few times I can forget about everything and just live for the moment
This is what it's all about......Original and still the best, you can keep that new style dubstep shit....Hardcore all day long........I'm getting old! lol!
First is was house music from Chicago US followed by the acid house movement, then break beat hardcore stemmed off from the UK, then hardcore & happy hardcore from eastern Europe, then jungle/drum & bass from the UK.
The Rave scene has come along way, and the UK has had a major foot in the proceedings fuck what anybody says about us.
oh yeh,, Great tune! Dj Krome Mr Time original legends to the jungle masses :)
shame people cant get away with how they made tunes back in early 90s. Breakbeat hardcore and jungle were the genres that pushed technological advances in electronic music, its a shame that technology eventually jungle died due to technological advances in producing equipment.
Absolute classic. I'm 27 and feel EXACTLY the same as a few of the dudes above. Just keep collecting it boys, it doesn't matter if you weren't there, be there now! ;)
exactly! I never spun the records when they came out. just went to parties... started collecting and eventually DJing when I was 27 cuz I missed hearing those tunes so much - will always love it - and there is sooo much underground hip hop acid house, techno, breakbeat hardcore and jungle out there from the old days. I'll always love it
this is one of the sickest tunes going but we are part of the dubstep revolution. I've got maximum respect for old skool jungle/hardcore but our generation desperatley needed something new and we found it in the form of dubstep, the new era of the breakbeat.
@leeroy65 2010 still makes me dance like a crazy twat in front of random ppl in the street , they think im weird ???? fuck em they dont understand wat the oldskool does to ya <3
im 37 in a few months & still love this foookin tune.....proper hardcore will live forever as long as people appreciate what amazing tunes are.....we as a raving nation should never allow music like this to die and revive it to survive it.......now grab ya whistles & bloooooooooow!!!! oh & 'ladiezzzz shine on!!!!'
@KEVHARTLES im only 21 been listening to this stuff since the age of 5 , the prodigy like modernish stuff 2 /, but this song is amazing i introduce it 2 my mates n they love it, they all never really knew that jungle and hardcore had a divorce wish they remmarried , it sorta did a year or 3 ago with that moondance cd and them nu skool breaks try outs they were oks but these tunes like m beat - incredible / sweet love - criminal minds baptised by dub , omn trio thru the vibe , ,moving shadow
@KEVHARTLES these tunes are awesome , the real shit, the old skool ravers know their stuff , good luck blowing ur whistle as an old man , i will too but it will be a while longer, much lurve 2 the old skool , shout out to ratpack , wish i was this age when it kicked off in the early 90's :( but nooop i was nagging mum 4 sweets or bein a little shit :) but i was raving at such a young age to prodigy , apollo 440 , goldie , then on to modern dnb and hardcore as i become a teen just love it all :)
there is nothing that comes close to this style of proper hardcore.....i don't care what anyone says this is proper original 90's and if you were there, you would know this...man!!!!
I was only 14 when this wonderful tune dropped for the first time on the essex rave scene, now I'm living a chilled life if the subberbs of Notts. but you have to admit it still makes the hairs on your neck stand when you hear this pure 90's classic!! Hardcore till I die.....
This tune along with a couple of others like it are the reason i bought a set of decks way back in '94, this is proper hardcore, before it all changed.....long live this kind of music....i want this played when i die!!! Hardcore till the very end!!............I'm lossing control......can't stop me dancing!!
