As a Sabahan, I wish to convey my highest appreciation for everything, especially for the life's and souls that we owe from you all.. to all the Australian, NZ, British and the North Borneo (Sabah) people who died during the invasion of Japanese army. Thank you thank thank you Thank you again.
@loqwazli dusun mmg orang asli yang menetap d norneo utara. erti kata lain kita juga dalam rumpun Dayak. mengamalkan headhunting, mmpunyai kepercayaan sendiri (sebelum kedatangan islam, kristian, buddha, hindu) . di sabah, dusun, rungus, kadazan, murut merupakan suku etnik dayak borneo utara.
Just a little piece of interesting info. This wasn't shown in the clip but is available on the full length documentary. Lance-Bombardier Bill Moxham, one of only 6 surivivors of the death marches, was so deeply affected by his ordeal that he commited suicide in 1961 on his farm property in New South Wales which he named...Ranau. Believe it or not, there is a place called Ranau in Australia. Tragic story though...
@MrPutun More interesting information on Bill Moxam is that he had two brothers Tom and Harry, who were also POWs of the Japs. After surviving the Burma railway these two brothers were being taken to Japan in Jap transport ships that were sunk by US submarines. One brother died hours before rescue and the other was rescued.
Are there anymore Sabah North Borneo history out there, still kept by ex-pat. Please upload them (photos, filsm etc) via youtube, we want to know more history from Keningau and Tambunan, thanks...
penuh menyedarkan....

Sabah or north borneo is not yet part of Malaysia at this time, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore join Malaysia Federation on 16 September 1963.
but Singapore left Malaysia on 9 August 1965 bcuz of some racist affairs happened at that time.(more like politic affairs)
