Velocity is a vector quantity representing the rate of change of distance. A body's velocity can be obtained from square root of twice its kinetic energy divided by its mass.
Anyone who uses this term outside of this context is a moron. You failed high school physics and are stuck in some dead end code monkey job void of any opportunity for real scientific or creative outlet. So please stop hijacking well established scientific terminology to make you sound like you are important.

If you watch the first 7 seconds of the video, as the camera pulls away from the table on the right, you can see each developer busy typing on his/her personal laptop. Hence, they are not pairing in the normal XP way. Anyway, very nice and humorous video, I rate it highly. Can someone confirm if this is the actual ThoughtWorks office in London?

Yes, it really is the ThoughtWorks London office, and you're right, they weren't actually pairing - they are on the beach (and far too excited about dancing to concentrate on code!)
